The terms that apply when you book accommodation, an experience or an event with Cosy Crest.

We have not published wording we cannot stand behind. Each section below states what it will cover. If you need a definitive answer on any point before you book — cancellation, refunds, deposits, visitors or event rules — ask us and we will confirm it in writing for your specific booking.

Accommodation — cancellation and refunds

This section is awaiting approval. It will cover:

  • The cancellation window and what is refunded inside and outside it
  • How a no-show is treated
  • Whether the refundable damage deposit is returned in full and when
  • The payment schedule: what is due at booking and when the balance falls due

Experiences and packages — cancellation and rescheduling

This section is awaiting approval. It will cover:

  • Whether package cancellation differs from accommodation cancellation
  • What happens to costs already committed to suppliers, such as a caterer or a decorator
  • Whether dates can be moved, how many times, and at what notice
  • Whether a change of date carries a fee

Rescheduling

  • The notice required to move a booking
  • Any administration fee
  • What happens if the new date costs more or less
  • Whether a reschedule counts as a cancellation

Occupancy, visitors and events

  • That every property has an approved maximum occupancy which cannot be exceeded
  • Whether day visitors are permitted, and whether they must be declared
  • That booking a room does not grant permission to hold an event
  • How an approved event differs from a gathering of visitors
  • The consequences of exceeding the declared attendance

Events — rules and limits

This section is awaiting approval. It will cover:

  • Permitted event hours and any quiet hours
  • Music levels, cut-off times and any sound restrictions
  • Pool access during an event
  • Decorations: what may be fixed to walls, and what is prohibited
  • Outside suppliers and vendors: whether they are permitted and what approval they need
  • Parking arrangements and any limit on vehicles
  • Cleaning: what guests must clear, and what the property handles
  • A refundable event damage deposit, if one applies
  • Whether security or staff are required, and who provides them

Damage and loss

  • The refundable deposit amount and how it is held
  • How damage is assessed and deducted
  • The guest's liability beyond the deposit
  • How and when a deduction is communicated
